(FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL)
If you are interested in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and want to kickstart your initiative, this program is for you. The Fundamental Level of the ESG Leadership & Advanced Leadership Practices Micro-Credential Program is thoughtfully designed for individuals ready to start embedding ESG principles into leadership, policies, and operations while addressing real-world challenges head-on. Through this learning journey, which starts in May 2025, participants will gain a solid understanding of ESG fundamentals, leadership roles, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies. They’ll uncover hands-on case studies and practical steps to integrate ESG into business practices, measure and report performance, navigate legal and regulatory landscapes, and build a resilient and impactful ESG culture.
Upon completion, you’ll earn a Fundamental Level Certification, showcasing your commitment to sustainability and leadership excellence.
TRAINER PROFILE
Dr. Sham is a passionate sustainability consultant and trainer with extensive experience in ESG principles. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of prestigious organizations, including Petronas, The Northern Corridor Implementation Agency (NCIA), KYouth Programme (Khazanah Initiative), PTPTN, GiatMARA, Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC), Sarawak Energy Berhad, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Alliance Bank Berhad, SME Bank Bhd., SME Corp., Invest Sabah, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development & Research (CEDAR), Maybank Berhad, MIDF, ATA Plus, Pepper Labs, Chemsain Group, Hextar Industries Berhad, Cradle Fund, and many others. Micro-Credential
The ESG Leadership & Advanced Leadership Practices Micro-Credential Program, structured in three progressive levels — Fundamental, Associate, and Professional — is designed to empower leaders with the knowledge and skills required to effectively drive ESG initiatives within their organizations. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of ESG principles and learn how to seamlessly integrate these practices into organizational strategy and operations. They will develop critical leadership capabilities, including ethical decision-making, risk management, and strategic planning with a focus on ESG priorities. Upon completion, participants will be equipped to lead high-impact sustainability efforts, navigate complex governance challenges, and align ESG strategies with overarching business objectives. Where do I register for the Micro-Credential Executive Sustainability Program: ESG Leadership & Advanced Leadership Practice (Fundamental Level) ?

How much does ESG Leadership & Advance Leadership Practices (Fundamental Level) cost?
The program costs RM7,000.00. If you’re eligible for any discounts or offers, please refer to the Google Form registration page or head to Number 4 for more details.
Where will I be learning the course?
This course will be a mix of 5 in-person classes and 3 online classes. The physical classes will be held at INTEC Education College, Jalan Senangin Satu 17/2A, Seksyen 17 40200 Shah Alam, Selangor. For online classes, please refer to question 7.
Are there any discounts available? What types of discounts can I apply for this fundamental level, and how do I qualify?
Yes, we offer several types of discounts for this fundamental level:
- GROUP REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 3 participants is required for group registration at RM4,200 per person. Participants can be from the same organization or from different organizations.- For participants from the same organization, please ensure that each person registers individually using their own Google Form.
- For participants from different organizations, kindly list the names of all group members in the remark section.

- EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT (EBDiscount) REQUIREMENTS:
- The Early Bird Discount is available until February 28th, with a registration fee of RM4,900 per participant. Payments made after this date will be refunded to the customer.
- STUDENT DISCOUNT REQUIREMENTS
- Students with a valid student ID can apply for a special discounted rate of RM700.00. Please upload your student ID during registration for verification.
Please note that if the student ID is found to be invalid, a 20% admin fee will be deducted from the registration fee, and the refund will be processed within 15 working days.
Discounts are only applicable one at a time.

What is the required level of education to join this Micro-Credential?
We recommend a minimum of post-SPM education for the Fundamental level of the Micro-Credentials. The education requirements will differ for the Associate and Professional levels. Will the online learning session be live-streamed or consist of pre-recorded videos?
The online learning sessions will be live-streamed via Zoom, and participants will have access to additional course materials, such as pre-recorded videos, working files, presentation slides, etc., through our Learning Management System. For more details about the Learning Management System, please refer to question 9.
What happens if I miss a class or session?
If you miss a class or session, please provide us with a reason for your absence beforehand. We will then guide you on how to catch up with any missed content.
Is there any specific software or tools needed to complete the ESG Leadership & Advance Leadership Practices (Fundamental Level) course?
Participants will need an internet connection to access our Learning Management System. You will be able to access the system once you have successfully registered for the Micro-Credential Executive Sustainability Program – ESG Leadership & Advanced Leadership Practices (Fundamental Level). Any further software or tools requirements will be addressed during the course itself.
Can I still access the course material after completing it?
Yes, you will have access to the course materials for 9-12 Months at our Learning Management System after completing the program, allowing you to review content as needed.
How long does it take to complete the ESG Leadership & Advance Leadership Practices (Fundamental Level) course?
This course typically takes 8 weeks to complete. Each class will take approximately 3 hours.
Will there be a certificate awarded after completion?
Yes! Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate accredited by INTEC Education College and Chartered Institute of Compliance and Accreditation (CICA). This certificate can be shared with your employer or included in your professional portfolio.
