Exhibition

An immersive exhibition highlighting sea turtle conservation and threats to marine biodiversity, showcasing how AI technology and ESG principles can support protection efforts and promote sustainable ocean ecosystems. It’s laid out in themed zones/sections: Awareness, Showcase, Immersive & Interactive, Volunteer, Multimedia, Community & Heritage, Workshop and an Eco-Market

International sustainability Congress 2025

The International Sustainability Congress (ISC) 2025 is a flagship event under the month-long “Love Our Turtles: IKHTIAR Foundation Call-to-Action” campaign. It brings together public, private, academic, and community stakeholders to spur collaboration, dialogue, and action on biodiversity, ESG, and sustainable futures in Penang and beyond

Love Our Turtles: Turtle Release with TYT of PENANG
- 14 September 2025
- 6:30 PM at Kerachut Beach
- Pantai Kerachut, Taman Negara Pulau Pinang
- Release Time: Dusk, starting at 7:00 PM (sunset)
- Transportation: Boat from Teluk Bahang jetty (approx. 30-minute journey)
The Turtle Release Program serves as the grand finale of the Love Our Turtles campaign, inviting VIP guests to witness the symbolic journey of endangered hatchlings from nest to sea. Held at Kerachut Beach in Penang National Park on 14 September 2025, participants gather at 6:30 PM before being ferried by boat from Teluk Bahang jetty to the release site, where the hatchlings make their way to the open ocean at dusk (around 7 PM) under the patronage of TYT of Penang—an experience designed to deepen appreciation for sea turtles and galvanize support for marine conservation efforts.

Exhibition at Penang Town Hall
An interactive walk-through of turtle biology, conservation challenges and sustainable living zones.
Sustainability Congress at USM
Two-day forum (3–4 Sep) bringing together leaders, researchers and students to shape ESG strategies.
Turtle Release at Kerachut Beach
A dusk ceremony on 14 Sep where invited guests free hatchlings into the sea, marking our campaign’s grand finale.
Fun Walk & Run in Georgetown
Community 3 KM walk & 5 KM run on 23 Aug to raise awareness, fitness and fun for all ages.

AI & Technology Workshop
The AI & Technology Workshop will take place on 18, 20, 22, and 28 August 2025 at Penang Town Hall, Georgetown. Over eight sessions lasting between one and two hours each, participants will explore Malaysia’s cutting-edge innovations in artificial intelligence and sustainable technology, gaining hands-on experience with tools and solutions that support environmental conservation and future-ready practices.
Arts & Crafts Workshop
The Arts & Crafts Workshop will run on the weekends of 16–17, 23–24, and 30–31 August 2025 at Penang Town Hall, Georgetown. Across eleven two-hour sessions, attendees of all ages will engage in creative, eco-friendly projects—such as paper marbling, beadwork, and upcycled décor—designed to promote sea turtle conservation through meaningful, hands-on art activities.
Circular Economy & Responsibility Workshop
Scheduled for 19 and 26 August 2025 at Penang Town Hall, Georgetown, the Circular Economy & Responsibility Workshop comprises four sessions of three and a half hours each. Participants will delve into sustainable business models, waste-reduction strategies, and the circular economy concept, learning how marine pollution challenges can be transformed into opportunities for environmental stewardship and community action.
Kids Turtle Story: Love the Ocean, Love Nature
“Love the Ocean, Love Nature” is a special storytelling workshop for children, held on 27 and 29 August 2025 at Penang Town Hall, Georgetown. In two interactive sessions of two and a half hours each, young learners will join engaging tales and creative activities that bring sea turtle conservation to life, inspiring early awareness and care for marine ecosystems.
