Workshop

Workshops will run throughout the exhibition from 15th to 31st August 2025, hosted in a dedicated space within the venue. These sessions offer interactive opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of sea turtle conservation, threats to marine biodiversity, and sustainable practices.

AI and Technology Workshop

This workshop highlights Malaysia’s growing efforts in technology and artificial intelligence, showcasing local innovations that contribute to sustainability and environmental awareness. It offers participants a chance to explore how tech can be part of the conversation around conservation and future-ready solutions.

Arts and Crafts Workshop

Held throughout the exhibition, the Arts & Crafts Workshop invites participants of all ages to creatively engage with the theme of sea turtle conservation. Using recycled and eco-friendly materials, these hands-on activities promote environmental awareness in a fun, interactive way—making education through art both meaningful and memorable.

Terrarium Workshop

Mini Ecosystem in a Recycled Container

This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to build a terrarium, which is a mini ecosystem created in a reused plastic container. This activity encourages the reuse of waste materials and introduces the concept of plant care in a small, sustainable, and easy-to-maintain space.

E-Waste Awareness & Dismantling Workshop

This workshop aims to raise participants’ awareness about electronic waste (e-waste) issues through hands-on experience dismantling used electronic devices. The session emphasizes the importance of responsible e-waste disposal and provides exposure to electronic components and the environmental risks if not handled properly.

Circular Economy & Responsibility Workshop

This workshop aims to provide students with deeper insight into the issue of marine pollution and the concept of a circular economy as a sustainable solution. The turtle, as an icon of endangered marine life, is used as a symbol of awareness to encourage the younger generation to think critically, act responsibly, and become agents of change in environmental conservation.

Kids Turtle Story

Love the Ocean, Love Nature

This workshop is an environmental education initiative specifically designed for kindergarten and lower primary school children to instill love and care for the environment from an early age. Through engaging storytelling and creative activities that spark imagination, children will be introduced to the important role of turtles in the marine ecosystem and the dangers of pollution to marine life.
